Client Project Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA OR Boston, MA
Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to support the Client Strategy Consultant (CSC), who leads the client relationship, in an effort to deepen and strengthen the relationship with a key client and to assist in maintaining and growing client revenue by providing client-tailored project management and administrative support. The position requires strong project management and client interface skills, administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to work some non-standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day relationship with certain client contacts, particularly as it pertains to authorized training programs
  • Proactively manage all programs to ensure quick confirmation, quality facilitators, appropriate and timely scheduling, materials, reports etc. to meet high expectations for client satisfaction
  • Manage projects as requested by client including maintaining/updating project planning spreadsheets, tracking Aperian Global billable hours, maintaining contact with key clients as needed
  • Foster development of existing clients through lead generation and relationship management

Country Specialist
Country Specialists join our lead trainers as consultants for a day and are asked to speak from their own experience of living and working in the target culture. For example, if our client is relocating to Tokyo, we identify one or more Japanese nationals who will support the needs of the participants based on their background in a similar industry, job title and city of relocation. Country Specialists play an important role in facilitating the introduction to the cultural norms of their country/region. In return they gain valuable insight into cross-cultural training and consulting as well as the opportunity to meet influential business executives. A Country Specialist is not required to prepare a formal presentation, but is expected to provide anecdotal cultural/business specific advice and insight to our client throughout the training.

Finance/Operations Manager APAC
Location: Singapore
Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Finance/Operations Manager in our Singapore office who is interested in being part of our dynamic APAC region. This newly created position will oversee and coordinate locally outsourced financial and legal services throughout the APAC region as well as be responsible for general operational and administrative duties required. Experience in analyzing, adapting and improving processes and procedures will be an important aspect of the job. The right candidate must have knowledge of all accounting functions, from entering detailed transactions to creating monthly financial statements. HR policy/administrative duties will also be part of your responsibilities.  The Finance/Operations Manager will report directly to the CFO (based in San Francisco) and will be responsible for the following areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and coordination of company financial operations for the APAC region
  • Review of current systems and development of financial systems for APAC operations, in collaboration with EMEA and Americas finance manager colleagues
  • Implementation of accounting software and financial reporting system to meet local and US parent corporation needs
  • A/P and A/R functions
  • Manage payroll function
  • Manage accruals, transfer pricing and intercompany transactions to close books at month-end
  • Preparation of financial reports in accordance with C/SG/J/India GAAP, and company policies
  • Consolidate financials for C/SG/J/India operations and report to US parent co. on a timely basis.
  • Primary interface with regional accounting firms (local vendors in C/SG/J/India)
  • Future supervision of billing clerks/bookkeepers
  • HR responsibilities such as employee/associate (free-lance) contracts, employee benefits, local compliance and tax issues, etc.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will bring a proven finance and operational background from a multinational company, ideally within the professional services field. Meticulous attention to detail is a must. You will have strong interpersonal, writing and telephone skills, and possess the ability to work effectively on a multinational team while at the same time work independently, often alone, in a small office. You must be willing and able to travel. You must have the maturity and experience to run a regional finance department while also being willing to be hands-on and detail-oriented while performing the daily accounting functions of a small consulting firm where an “all-hands- on-deck” mindset is often the necessary norm.

    Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin is desired. Desire for continued learning in international finance and tax law is a must. Excellent computer and MS Office skills needed, with knowledge of QuickBooks and other financial management systems an asset.

Marketing Internship
Location: U.S., San Francisco

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update the company’s marketing materials posted on GlobeSmart web tool as internal marketing resources for our clients who license GlobeSmart.
  • In partnership with Aperian Global subject matter experts, develop “boilerplate” proposal copy for Aperian Global’s core services and web tools. This will include original writing, editing, and proofreading of many documents that will serve as core material for proposal creation.
  • Post new/updated marketing materials on Sharepoint (Aperian Global’s intranet platform) and provide internal communications to advise Aperian Global staff of updates.
  • Assist in the planning and marketing of virtual GlobeSmart Community Events. This will include reviewing client registration of these events, planning reminder announcements accordingly, and drafting follow-up letters.
  • As needed, support market research for product development

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in a relevant field

Product Marketing Manager
We are actively seeking the right candidate to join our Product Marketing Group. The position is full-time, exempt and based out of our San Francisco or Boston office.

Primary Objectives:

  • Conduct strategic implementation planning meetings with clients during web tool launches to ensure that our tools are linked with all relevant client initiatives, visible to all potential users, and promoted in a way that drives usage and supports clients' business objectives;
  • Design and deliver customized client demonstrations, presentations and marketing materials for Tier I accounts;

  • Collaborate with others to deliver GlobeSmart Community events such as open-enrollment demos; re-launch and marketing demos; Collaboration Forums, etc.

Qualifications:
