Ted Dale - Chief Creative Officer
Theodore Dale is a co-founder of Aperian Global and serves as Chief Creative Officer. Since the company’s inception in 1990, he has overseen the company's development of intercultural training tools, including 25 videos on global business issues and a suite of webtools highlighted by GlobeSmart and Global Teams Online. Ted received his B.A. from the University of Colorado in Boulder and his M.A. from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, California, where he formerly taught as an adjunct professor.
Dave Eaton - Co-Founder & President
Dave Eaton is a co-founder and co-President of Aperian Global and has coached companies on the critical issues related to developing global competencies over the last fifteen years. As a strategic consultant, he has worked closely with senior management to design globalization strategies for mergers & acquisitions, joint venture management, cross-border outsourcing, human resources development, manufacturing and sales & marketing. Dave has a Master’s in Intercultural Management from Lesley Graduate School.
Ernie Gundling - Co-Founder & President
Dr. Gundling is a co-founder of Aperian Global, and acts as a Senior Asia specialist and co-President of the company's operations. His job is to assist clients in developing strategic global approaches to leadership, organization development, and relationships with key business partners. Dr. Gundling holds a Ph.D. and an M.A. from the University of Chicago, and a B.A. from Stanford University. He is also the author of three books.
Rita Bennett - Senior Vice President, Strategy
Rita Bennett leads strategic planning and strategy architecture at Aperian Global. She brings over twenty-three years of industry experience successfully leading two successful international training and consulting firms and serving hundreds of clients throughout the world such as Motorola, Zurich Re, Cemex, Royal Dutch Shell and Baxter Heath Care. She has extensive international living and work experience in Hong Kong, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich. Rita is a frequent speaker on global management issues such as global leadership, cross border teams, and the strategic management of international assignments. Rita serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and previously served as President of the SHRM Global Forum in 2000. Rita is a faculty member at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communications.
Laurie Emery - Managing Director, Americas
Laurie Emery joined Aperian Global in 1999 and has held a variety of positions in marketing, communications, and management with the firm. In her current role as Managing Director of the Americas, Laurie oversees the management of our client work and personnel in the company’s largest region. Laurie has worked in both the intercultural consulting and corporate communications arenas for more than 20 years. She grew up in Micronesia on the island of Saipan and lived in Kobe, Japan prior to returning to the United States for college. Laurie is a cum laude graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz, where she studied Japanese Language and Culture.
David Reilly - Chief Financial Officer
Dave Reilly joined Aperian Global as Chief Financial Officer in 2003 and is responsible for overseeing finance and accounting for the company. Dave has a broad entrepreneurial background that has included corporate strategy, management of technology and operations, sales, and new product development. Dave received an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Wharton School of Business and a BA in Biology from the University of Virginia.
Anita Zanchettin - Chief Learning Officer and Director, Global Diversity and Inclusion Practice
Anita Zanchettin joined Aperian Global in 2002 and serves as our Chief Learning Officer and Practice Group Leader for Global Diversity and Inclusion. She has more than eighteen years’ experience providing training and consulting for global corporations on the business impact of culture on job effectiveness, teamwork, and leadership. Anita holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont and has lived in Spain, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Allison Behr - Consultant, Client StrategyAllison Behr joined Aperian Global in 2004 and manages the Client Relations team responsible for developing strategies for clients worldwide to maximize our blend of tools and consulting services. Allison brings over ten years of experience in account management, marketing and sales at organizations such as: Silicon Graphics, Excite@Home, and the Oracle Corporation. Allison grew up and studied primarily overseas in Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, and Australia, and completed her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with Honors, at the Australian National University.
Karen Cvitkovich - Director, Practice Groups
Karen Cvitkovich joined Aperian Global in 1996 and serves as the Practice Group Leader for Global Teams. With over ten years of experience in intercultural consulting, she has designed and facilitated seminars for executives and global teams on subjects including globalization, leading virtual teams, team development and conflict resolution. She has worked with a wide range of clients including Honeywell, Fidelity, Dell, EMC and Sony. Karen has a Master’s of Science degree in Training and Development from Lesley Graduate School.
David Dickey - Senior Consultant
Dave Dickey joined Aperian Global in 2001 and specializes in training US personnel who are assigned to work and live in Asia, and Asians who are assigned to the US. Dave is currently in charge of training programs such as Working Effectively with Japan, Thriving in Japan, Working Effectively in the US, Global Team Skills, and Working GlobeSmart. Dave received a B.A. degree in Asian Studies from Cornell University.
Brett Fenwick - Senior Vice President & Consultant
Dr. Fenwick joined Aperian Global in 1996 and is a senior consultant based in San Francisco. He delivers consulting, training, coaching, and candidate assessment services for global companies. A native of the U.S., he worked and lived abroad for a total of eleven years in Libya and Japan. Current and past projects have involved China, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Taiwan, Zaire, the Netherlands, Singapore, Russia, and the U.S. Dr. Fenwick holds a degree in civil engineering and graduate degrees in counseling, theology, and communication.
Theresa Kneebone - Senior Consultant, Client Strategy
Theresa Kneebone is a Senior Consultant, Global Client Management at Aperian Global. She has been in the intercultural field since 1993 and was previously the Director of Intercultural Services at Crown Relocations. Theresa was the Manager of Training Operations at Cendant Intercultural (now Cartus) and was responsible for opening their European headquarters in London. She has lived and worked in Taipei, Taiwan and London, UK and has traveled extensively. Theresa graduated from Indiana University with a degree in East Asian Studies and speaks proficient Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
Derek Leong - IT Director
Derek Leong joined Aperian Global in 2004 and has over twenty years of wide-ranging experience in computer technology, application development, network administration, and user support. As IT Director, Derek is responsible for managing Aperian Global’s technology infrastructure. He received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.
Jerry LoPorto - Senior Consultant
Jerry LoPorto joined Aperian Global in 2002 and serves as a senior consultant. He provides consulting, coaching, and teambuilding expertise for culturally diverse clients throughout the world and brings over twenty-five years of international and human resources experience. Jerry has lived and worked half his career in international settings such as Europe, Australia, and Asia. He received an MBA from Clark University and a bachelors degree from Northeastern University. He attended Columbia University’s Advanced Organization Development Program and completed the Senior Executive Development Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Pamela Leri - Director, Global Partnerships Practice
Pamela Leri joined Aperian Global in 2005 and is the Director of our Global Partnerships Practice. She works closely with our clients to offer a blended approach to enhancing the effectiveness of outsourcing and off-shoring initiatives with innovative web tools, consulting, facilitation, and training. Pamela holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing, Fiction, from The University of Iowa and her bachelor's degree in Literature, Creative Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Robert Limoges - Director of Core Programs
Robert Limoges joined Aperian Global in 2002 and brings extensive international training and consulting experience to the firm. A native of Montreal, Canada, Robert has traveled and worked in more than 15 countries where he has created and implemented successful programs on cultural understanding in Germany, Poland, Ukraine, and Mexico to name a few. Robert holds a Master in Organizational Psychology and a Major in Intercultural Communication from Sherbrooke University in Canada. He is fluent in French and English and proficient in Spanish, German and Danish.
Richard Lozeau - Senior Consultant
Richard C. “Dick” Lozeau joined Aperian Global in 2003 and has over twenty years of diverse corporate experience in hi-tech software and traditional manufacturing companies, working in both US domestic and international locations. His roles have included sales and marketing, product management, global ISO 9000 quality implementation, corporate education and business development. Dick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences from Harvard University and a Master’s in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing and Organizational Development from the University of Washington.
Lyrae Myxter - Director, Global Business Development & Marketing
Lyrae Myxter joined Aperian Global in 2006 and serves as Director of Global Business Development and Marketing. She brings over fifteen years of professional experience in business development, global communications, and human resource consulting. She has worked within a global logistics company, an international manufacturing and retail company, a strategic communications and events firm, and entered the intercultural field nine years ago.
She received both her MA in Human Resource Development (Masters Thesis on "Considerations for Effective Global Training") and a BA in Psychology, Industrial Relations and Communications (Senior Paper on "Facilitating the Expatriate's International Assignment Experience") from the University of Minnesota. Her studies included the completion of an executive human resources certificate program in Quito, Ecuador, an HRD Study Tour in Germany and the Netherlands, and Masters of International Business Administration coursework in Nairobi, Kenya.
Lyrae has always been active as a volunteer in the community. She has served as President of the Board for Silk Road Theatre Project, Board Vice President of Chicago Cares, a literacy tutor, Friend to a Kid, YMCA Big Buddy, and in various other community outreach capacities.
Jason Overton - Manager, Global Business Development
Jason Overton joined Aperian Global in 2003 and serves as a Manager of Global Business Development. Jason brings over thirteen years of experience in sales, business development and marketing and is responsible for helping our clients achieve their global business objectives and performance metrics through a blend of our webtools and consulting/ training solutions. Jason received his B.A. in International Studies from Emory University in 1993.
Mark Rieper - Director, Client Strategy
Mark Rieper joined Aperian Global in 2005 and is charged with delivering a wide range of consulting and training services, which develop and support a company’s cross-cultural strategies and globalization initiatives. His client work touches many functions and management levels within an organization and is concentrated in the areas of global strategy, cross-cultural management, and expansion into emerging markets. Mark holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, with a focus in Global Strategy, and a B.A. from Colgate University with a concentration in Asian Studies focusing on Chinese Language.
Kevin Sampson - Manager, Global Operations
Kevin Sampson joined Aperian Global in May 2004. Prior to joining Aperian Global, Kevin lived and worked in Prague where he was manager of an international language school. He has traveled throughout fifteen countries learning about the various cultures of each. He holds a Masters Degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University and is proficient in French.
Ruth Sasaki - Instructional Designer
Ruth Sasaki joined Aperian Global in 2005 and is an instructional designer and content writer for its online modules and web tools. She has over 15 years of experience in intercultural training, management, and curriculum design, working with clients such as Intel, Hewlett-Packard, and Procter & Gamble. Since 2002, she has been involved in creating innovative e-learning products. Ruth has lived and traveled in Japan and Europe. She has a Master's degree in Creative Writing and is an award-winning fiction writer.
Kris Schorno - Client Relations Manager
Kris Schorno joined Aperian Global in 1992 and currently serves as Client Relations Manager. Kris helps our clients with the administration and use of our web tools and manages client training programs. Kris received her B.A. from the University of Kansas specializing in Interpersonal and Public Communications.
Sueng Youn Shin - Business Development Manager, EMEA
Sueng-Youn joined Aperian Global in 2005 as web tools product and client manager in San Francisco. Ms. Shin spent her early years in Korea, lived and worked in the United States and Ghana, worked extensively with Japanese institutions and now resides in Denmark to market and promote a blend of our web tools, consulting, and training solutions. Sueng-Youn received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wellesley College in Massachusetts, USA and is versed in English, Korean, French and Japanese.
Megan Slater - Product Development Manager
Megan Slater is Manager of the Product Development team and is primarily responsible for defining and planning the product development plan for the company’s suite of web tools and new tool development. Prior to joining Meridian, Ms. Slater worked as a Product Manager for the Admissions Services division of The Princeton Review, where she managed product design and development for an online enrollment management tool used by colleges and universities world-wide. She has also worked in account management and sales roles at The Princeton Review and Oracle Corporation. Ms. Slater received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and currently lives in Oakland, California.
Matt Smedley - Senior Consultant, Client Strategy
Matt Smedley joined Aperian Global in 2005 as a senior consultant and Global Account Manager. Prior to joining the firm, Matt traveled to and worked in nineteen countries around the world, including two-years in Southern Brazil. Matt holds a MBA with a focus in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management. Matt's consulting work and cross-cultural training workshops have benefited a variety of companies, including Dell, EMC, Ernst & Young, Plantronics, Texas Instruments, Verizon, Wal-Mart and others.
Hitomi Togashi - Product Manager, Assessment Tools
Hitomi Togashi is a product manager for Aperian Global's online assessment tools. She received two B.S. degrees in Business Administration, with an emphasis on International Business and Information Systems, from San Francisco State University. She's currently pursuing a certificate on Project Management. The combination of her Japanese background, U.S. working experience, and study of intercultural subjects and information systems gives her a strong foundation for managing Aperian Global's web tools and facilitating Japan-U.S. business relations.
Brad Bungum - Vice President & Managing Director, EMEA
Brad Bungum joined Aperian Global in 1997 and serves as one of the firm's Vice Presidents,as well as Managing Director of EMEA, based in Denmark. Brad has over 25 years of international experience as a manager and educator in cross-cultural training and consulting, experiential learning, and language instruction. He currently oversees Client Services, Global Account Management, New Business Development, and Finance operations for the EMEA region. Before joining Aperian Global, he spent six years as Director of Studies and Managing Partner at a language centre in Copenhagen. Brad speaks fluent Danish and has lived and worked in over 30 countries throughout his career.
Kimberly Blanchard-Cattarossi - Regional Training Director, EMEA
Kimberly Blanchard-Cattarossi joined Aperian Global in 2003 and serves as regional training director and senior consultant. Bringing over 10 years of international expertise to the firm, she specializes in designing and facilitating training and consulting in intercultural management, international business communications, expatriate adjustment and high performance multinational teams. US-born and based in Venice, Italy, Ms. Blanchard-Cattarossi earned her masters degree in Intercultural Relations with a specialization in Training and Consulting from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is fluent in English, German and Italian.

Soren Olesen joined Aperian Global in February of 2001 and serves as the Director of Global Business Development & Client Strategy for EMEA. Vikki Olesen - Client Relations Manager
Vikki joined Aperian Global in 2006. Vikki is an American who has lived in Denmark since 2003. Previously Vikki headed up the Marketing Department at the CBS Owned and Operated Television Station in Denver, Colorado. She has also Managed Advertising and Promotions for the University of Denver's Athletic Department and served as the Regional Marketing Director for the Mid-Atlantic US States for Up With People. She holds an MBA from the University of Colorado. She is married, has two small children and works and lives in Denmark
Jeneva Leire Patterson - Director, Consulting, EMEA
Jeneva Patterson serves as EMEA's Director of Consulting and brings over 15 years of global organization and leadership development experience to her role. Jeneva holds an MA in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University and an MS in Organization Development from American University and the National Training Laboratories for Applied Behavioral Science, NTL. Torben Rasmussen works as Finance Manager for Aperian Global in EMEA and is located in Kolding, Denmark. Torben has a broad financial background that has included auditing, managed a financial department in an internet company focussing on professional services and managed hosting. Most recently, he worked as an international controller at the headquarter of a worldwide leading company in producing, assembling and selling playgrounds. Simone-Eva Redrupp joined Aperian Global in 2004 and is a “third-culture person,” who grew up and was educated in five countries (Germany, France, Belgium, Austria, and the USA). Based in Paris, France, Simone-Eva works in English, French or German for worldwide clients such as Schneider Electric, Business Objects, Societe Generale, and Louis Vuitton. Simone-Eva holds a BA degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas, coursework from Albert-Ludwigs Universitat in Freiburg, Germany and an MBA/MIM from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Lene Rindom - Manager of Children's Programs
Lene Rindom joined Aperian Global in 1997 and serves as Manager of Children's Programs. Lene brings over twenty-five years of educational and international experience to Aperian Global and is responsible for the design and implementation of our programs for children ages five and up. A native of Spjald, Denmark, Lene is fluent in English, and proficient in German and Norwegian.
Andrew Skobinsky - Senior Consultant, Client Strategy
Andrew Skobinsky joined Aperian Global in 2006 as an account manager based out of the Paris office. Through both international consulting roles and management posts within multi-national organizations, Andrew has gained extensive experience in corporate communications (internal and external), investor relations, project management, and international logistics. A dual citizen of France and the USA, Andrew lived and worked in Asia and Europe and has traveled extensively through these regions withlengthy stays in both Costa Rica and Israel. Andrew studied Asian communication patterns and global strategic planning at the Intercultural Communications Institute and he holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, where he specialized in the Asian basin and its emerging markets.
Anja Stentoft Jacobsen - Regional Manager, Client Relations, EMEA
Anja Stentoft Jacobsen works as Training Operations Manager for Aperian Global in EMEA and is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Born and raised in Denmark, Anja has lived and worked in the Middle East, Belgium, the UK and China and has traveled extensively throughout South East Asia. Anja holds an MA in Cross-Cultural Studies with a focus on China.
Jiri van den Kommer - Senior Consultant
Jiri van den Kommer joined Aperian Global in 2003 and works as a cross-cultural trainer and consultant with over 13 years of global management consulting experience. Prior to joining our firm, Jiri was a Vice President at a global Management & IT Consulting firm. A native of The Netherlands, Jiri has worked extensively in Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. He has a Masters degree in mathematics and information science (University of Amsterdam) and is a post-graduate Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
Henry Bak Zinglersen - Managing Director, Asia/Pacific and New Markets
Henry Bak Zinglersen joined Aperian Global in 1999 as a consultant and trainer. He now serves as the Managing Director for Asia/Pacific and for our New Market Development. He is experienced with our most customized client interventions, training programs, and process facilitations. Henry studied for his Masters degree in International Human Resource Management and Business Administration at the Copenhagen Business School; ESADE; and Cranfield University.
Sonya Kaleel - Manager, Business Development, Middle East
Sonya Kaleel is based in Cairo, Egypt representing Aperian Global in the Middle East and North Africa. As the Manager of Business Development for the Middle East, she assists organizations in working effectively with businesses in the Arab world. Her background includes 19 years of experience in training, marketing management and working with cross-border teams. Sonya holds a B.S. degree in Communications from Bradley University.
Sapna Rao - Consultant
Sapna has been a cross-cultural trainer for the last four years and has conducted both Cultural and Accent/Language related trainings. She has trained for companies including Microsoft, Dell, Accenture, HSBC and Fidelity. Having grown up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, and having lived in both cultures, she realized the need for a global citizen to have a working knowledge about the cultures that they are dealing with. Before getting into training, she worked as a technical writer with Wipro and as a counselor for fresh engineers trying to enter the IT industry. Sapna has an MBA in Marketing, specializing in Advertising, presenting her thesis on Advertising for Children. Her academic interest lies in Organizational Behavior and the need for a more structured learning process directed toward the global executive.
Brent Ackerman - Japan Country Manager
Brent Ackerman joined Aperian Global in 2004 and is a bilingual (Japanese/English) coach/facilitator residing in Tokyo, Japan. He specializes in organizational development, with a focus on leadership development and performance coaching and has worked with clients from a wide variety of industries from retail brands to financial services firms. Brent received his B.A. in Asian Studies from the University of British Columbia and his MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management.
Noriko Ogami - Director, Japan Consulting
Noriko Ogami joined Aperian Global in 2006 and is a bilingual (Japanese/English) executive coach, consultant, and trainer. She has over 15 years of corporate experience in the global consulting field with expertise in Organization Development, Negotiation, Leadership Development, Multicultural Team Management, Intercultural Business Communication, Assertiveness in Mind and Action, Team Facilitation, Co-Active Coaching, and Conflict Resolution. Noriko holds a B.A. from Notre Dame College in Kyoto in Intercultural Communication & Conflict Resolution and an M.S. from Boston University's College of Communication. She completed the Co-Active Coaching program at CTI in San Rafael, California in 2006.
Keiko Sakurai - Senior Consultant
Keiko Sakurai joined Aperian Global in 2005 and is a bilingual (English/Japanese) consultant specializing in global business skills trainings, multi-cultural business conference facilitation and corporate teambuilding, combining a strong business background and cross-cultural expertise to help her clients reach viable solutions. Keiko holds a Masters degree of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, with a certificate in Global Management, as well as a Bachelors degree of Management from Hitotsubashi University in Japan, where she graduated with top honors. Keiko is a certified MBTI user and a licensed NLP practitioner.
Lali Zayas Del Rio - Global Business Development Associate
Lali joined Aperian Global in late August 2005 as a Country Specialist Coordinator, and started working as a Client Relations Manager a year later. She is currently serving as a Global Business Development Associate in Aperian Global's Boston offices. Lali is originally from Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish, English, and proficient in French. Before joining Aperian Global, Lali was completing her studies in International Relations with concentrations in Economics and Business and French Language and Literature.
Johnny Xiong - Senior Consultant and Business Development Manager for Asia/Pacific
Johnny Xiong joined Aperian Global in the summer of 2005 as a cross-cultural trainer and consultant. Initially based in Copenhagen, Denmark, he has recently relocated back to Beijing, China, and now serves as a trainer and consultant with our Asia/Pacific team. Johnny has worked with many of Aperian Global's clients in preparation for conducting business internationally and for international assignments. Johnny was educated at Copenhagen Business School in International Business and Finance. Johnny's key contributions are his in-depth understanding of Asian business cultures, as well as his ability to build bridges when cultural differences become a barrier to successfully conducting business internationally.
Lynne Tarter - Senior Consultant and Director of Business Development, India
Lynne Tarter joined Aperian Global in the beginning of 2007 as a cross-cultural trainer and consultant with over eight years of international business experience. In addition to coaching and facilitating, she serves as the Director of Business Development, India, and is responsible for developing new partnerships with global corporations located throughout the country. Based in Bangalore, Lynne has coached over 300 participants in her first six months with the company, preparing many of Aperian Global's clients for conducting business internationally and for international assignments. Lynne has lived for many years in Germany and Japan, traveling extensively in Europe and Asia. She was educated in English and Communications at Wisconsin Lutheran College and has an indepth understanding of American, European, and Asian business cultures.
Bora Panduku - Client Services Manager, Services
Bora joined Aperian Global in December 2006 as a Client Relations Manager. A native of Albania, Bora has lived in Boston for 14 years. She is fluent in Albanian, English, and French. She has a B.A. from Boston University in International Relations with a concentration on Europe. She has also studied and worked in Paris. Bora supports our clients by coordinating cross-cultural training programs for expatriate employees.
Kate Hluchyj - Client Services Manager, Services
Kate Hluchyj joined Aperian Global in September 2006 as the Country Specialist Coordinator and started working as a Client Relations Manager in July 2007. Before joining Aperian Global's Boston office, Kate was completing her undergraduate degree in French and Francophone Cultural Studies. She has lived in France and studied Francophone literature and culture in Canada and Morocco.
Archana Patni - Client Services Manager, Services
Archana joined Aperian Global in July 2007 as a Client Relations Manager. Prior to this, Archana worked as a reporter for a national news channel in India (NDTV), based out of Bangalore. She has a graduate degree in Sociology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism. She has also worked briefly for News and Advertising production in New Delhi, India. Archana moved to Boston, MA from her home country of India.
Anthony Greco - Client Services Manager, Services
Anthony Greco joined Aperian Global in 2007 as a Client Relations Manager based in the Boston office. Before working for Aperian Global, Anthony graduated cum laude from Boston University with a major in East Asian Studies and dual minors of Business Administration & Management, and Japanese Language & Literature. A native English speaker, Anthony is also proficient in both Japanese and French, and familiar with basic Spanish.
Christie Caldwell - Project Manager, Practice Group Leadership Team
Christie Caldwell works with Aperian Global's Practice Group Leaders to create and deliver highly-customized solutions for AG clients. Based out of AG's Boston office, Christie manages logistics, client needs, and customization in the areas of Global Mergers and Acquisitions, Global Teams, Global Partnerships, Global Diversity and Inclusion, and Global Leadership. Prior to her work with Aperian Global, Christie consulted on projects for Harvard University's program on Negotiation and The Save the Children Fund, and served as a researcher for The Grameen Bank in Bangladesh and The Southern Center for International Studies in Atlanta. Christie has a Master's Degree in Religion and Global Politics from Harvard University and a Bachelors in Post-colonial Studies from The University of the South.
Laura Cholak - Client Relations Manager
Laura joined the Client Relations Team in June 2007 and is based in the San Francisco office. Before joining Aperian Global, Laura worked with Intel on their Emerging Markets Development initiatives and was a Small Business Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay. She also has experience working in antitrust regulation with both the Federal Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Justice. Laura recently completed her MBA in International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Anna Nordström - Client Relations Manager, EMEA
Anna is based out of our Copenhagen, Denmark office and works with Aperian Global as a Client Relations Manager. Originally from Sweden, Anna is primarily responsible for coordination of cross-cultural training programs for Aperian Global's French clients, in addition to various clients throughout the EMEA region. Anna has lived in a number of countries (Israel, France, and Belgium) and holds a Masters degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations and European politics.
Adwoa Asabea Osei - Client Strategy Associate, Americas
Adwoa Osei joined Aperian Global in 2007 as a Client Strategy Associate based in the Boston office. Adwoa holds a graduate degree in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is Ghanaian.
Addie Gillespie - Country Specialist Coordinator, Americas
Addie Gillespie is based in the Boston office and joined Aperian Global in fall 2006 as a member of the Country Specialist Department. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and German from Boston University and has lived in Dresden, Germany. Addie is responsible for recruiting and preparing Subject Matter Experts for various consulting and training projects in the Americas.
Jesse Rowell - Senior Consultant, Client Strategy
Jesse Rowell joined Aperian Global in 2007 as a Senior Consultant within the Client Strategy department based in Chicago, managing some of the largest clients in the Americas region. His career has focused on marketing and business development and over the last ten years he has helped US firms launch products and services overseas, as well as foreign businesses seeking a foothold into the North American market. Jesse has worked for several multinational organizations including IBM, Inovis, and LowendalMasai.
Jesse has lived throughout South America and speaks Spanish. He has a B.S. from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Emory University.
Isabella Meijer- Senior Consultant, Client Strategy
Isabella Meijer joined Aperian Global in 2007 as a Senior Consultant within the Client Strategy department based in the Boston office, managing some of the largest clients in the Americas region. She brings over fifteen years experience in international marketing, communications, and business development within multinational environments, with a focus on assisting US companies in their international development. She grew up in Brussels, Belgium, has lived and worked in several European countries and the United States, and has traveled extensively in these regions as well as in Asia.
Isabella holds a BA degree from the Universite Catholique de Louvain in Belgium, and an MA from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University) in Boston, Massachusetts. She is fluent in French, Dutch, and German, and proficient in Spanish and Italian.
Ken Belanger - Director, Global HR
Ken Belanger joined Aperian Global in 2007 as a senior consultant in Client Strategy and is based in Philadelphia. Ken has recently been appointed Global HR Director, where he is responsible for the overall global HR strategy for the firm and a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
A native of the U.S., Ken has lived and worked in a various countries for 17 years (1989-2006), a large portion in Copenhagen, Denmark and Athens, Greece as well as working extensively in the Middle East, Japan and China.
Ken's educational background includes a B.Sc. in Languages from Georgetown University (1989), M.A. in Literature from the University of Copenhagen (1997), an MBA from the University of Maryland University College (2002) and a graduate of the General Manager Program (TGMP12) from Harvard Business School (2003).
Shiu-Jene Duong - Client Relations Manager, APAC
Shiu-Jene's role at Aperian Global is going to be a position as Client Relations Manager and Client Strategy Associate. She will spend her first three months in Copenhagen and then move to Hong Kong. Shiu-Jene will work closely together with Henry B. Zinglersen, Managing Director Asia/Pacific setting up the regional HQ for Aperian Global Asia/Pacific. Shiu-Jene holds a German Maters degree in Applied Business Languages Chinese & International Management from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen in Germany. She majored in Business Chinese, Marketing and HR. She has business experience from Sales, HR and Marketing.
