General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Statement

Your trust and confidence are of critical importance to us at Aperian Global. Respecting and protecting the privacy of our customers, employees and partners is essential to the success of our business, as is compliance with international laws.

On May 25, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the existing 1995 EU Data Protection Directive (European Directive 95/46/EC). To adhere to the requirements of this new legislation, Aperian Global devoted itself to achieving compliance with the GDPR ahead of the regulation’s effective date.

How did Aperian Global Prepare for the GDPR?

As part of our GDPR compliance efforts, we engaged third party compliance experts to assess our business practices and formed an internal committee made up of cross-functional stakeholders which took organization-wide actions to meet these requirements, including:

  • Reviewing our internal and external procedures and policies and implementing new ones or modifying where necessary;
  • Reviewing and amending our current agreements with our clients, employees and partners to be GDPR compliant;
  • Reviewing and implementing technical and organisational security measures;
  • Reviewing our data inventory for all entities in scope;
  • Updating procedures to allow us to handle subject data access requests in accordance with the GDPR requirements.

What does this mean for you?

We take your data privacy very seriously and will continue to make operational changes that are recommended by the new legislation. Please contact us at if you have any additional questions.

Additional security and privacy information can be found on our Privacy Policy here.
