Ekaterina von Gertten

Ekaterina von Gertten is a Senior Consultant and Learning Solutions Architect for Global Mobility at Aperian Global. She partners with clients around the world, with a focus on the EMEA region. Ekaterina has served as a key resource in Aperian Global’s work with Fortune 100 companies in a variety of sectors including energy, pharmaceuticals, technology, automotive, finance, and food and beverage. Some of her most impactful engagements include Carlsberg, GSK, SABIC, AAM, LEGO, Gazprom, Oracle, Staples, Ørsted, and Accenture.

Ms. von Gertten is equally comfortable in coaching individuals, facilitating group workshops, and speaking in front of large audiences. Her driving force lies in being able to make people feel seen and their needs heard no matter if she’s working with a high-level manager returning to headquarters after his fourth assignment, a blue-collar worker of an acquired company anticipating the unknown, a leadership program graduate going on her first international internship, or an Human Resources professional struggling to ignite new energy around inclusion at their organization.

Home base for Ms. von Gertten is currently Malmö, Sweden, where she lives with her family. Her coaching, public speaking and facilitation are conducted in English, Swedish, Belarusian and Russian. A native of Minsk, Belarus, her favorite city to live in is Stockholm. She has also spent time working or studying in the United States, the United Kingdom, Austria, Japan, and Belgium.

Beyond her role as a consultant and facilitator, Ms. von Gertten is also a certified coach and an active public speaker with the Athenas and Skillspartner Speakers Bureaus in Sweden.

Ms. von Gertten holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics. Before working with corporate clients, Ekaterina had an academic career, and among other positions was a Lecturer at the Department of International Relations at Belarusian State University. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Singing and has performed in professional opera productions and concert recitals in Sweden and around Europe.
