Building a Strong Network of Women Leaders in India

Aperian Global recently hosted an event on June 4 in Bangalore to address the issue of how to build a pipeline of women leaders and equip them with competitive strategies.

“Building Key Global Leadership Behaviors for Women in Leadership” was co-facilitated by Anita Zanchettin, our managing director of global talent strategy, and Geetha Kannan, a senior consultant for Aperian Global.  Sixty-five women leaders from various industries in India came together to network, learn, and engage in a program that was interactive and thought-provoking.

Some of the day’s topic’s included:

  • Increased awareness of global trends impacting women in global leadership
  • How to apply global leadership behaviors to their own leadership development
  • How to develop strategies for improved effectiveness in a global leadership context

Response was overwhelmingly positive:

“It is amazing how a one day workshop is helping us build our network and learn from each other.”

“At first it seemed like one of those usual sessions we attend. But yesterday’s sessions gave us insight into various other aspects of women in leadership.”

“The ‘Give and Receive’ exercise was definitely a value-add and a stepping stone towards building a strong network of women leaders.”

By popular demand, we plan to offer the program in other cities in India in the coming months! If you would like more information about these programs, please subscribe to our newsletter.
